Opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV finally left the Senate on Saturday, almost a month after he was ordered arrested by President Rodrigo Duterte.   Trillanes has been holed up in the chamber since President Rodrigo Duterte issued Proclamation No. 572 on August 31. Makati RTC judge denies gov’t petition for arrest of Trillanes – DOJ

A Makati Regional Trial Court denied the government's petition for the arrest of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV for the coup d'etat case filed against him. The court also denied the petition for the issuance of a hold departure order against the senator.
