‘Henry’, monsoon to dump more rain in many parts of Luzon

  Heavy rainfall is likely to persist in Metro Manila, Cavite, Zambales, Batangas and Bataan in the next two hours amid the prevailing southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Depression Henry.   Yellow and orange rainfall warnings were issued at 6:20 a.m. for these areas, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.   Batanes remained under Signal No. 1 due to Henry, which was last spotted 75 kilometers west-southwest of Calayan, Cagayan. Rain to continue over Luzon; new LPA likely to become storm in 24 hrs

‘Habagat’ to be enhanced by LPA, rain over eastern Visayas and Mindanao – Pagasa
