MANILA, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Two people died and nine were injured in a fire that gutted a residential area in the Philippine capital on Monday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection said. The bureau said the fire, which broke out around 12:45 p.m. local time, took the lives of two female residents.
