2 dead, 9 injured in Philippine capital fire

MANILA, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Two people died and nine were injured in a fire that gutted a residential area in the Philippine capital on Monday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection said. The bureau said the fire, which broke out around 12:45 p.m. local time, took the lives of two female residents. The bureau added that five residents were injured, including a 60-year-old male and a 55-year-old female.....»»
