3 dead, 17 injured in multi-vehicle crash in Philippine capital
MANILA, April 30 (Xinhua) -- A speeding bus crashed into several vehicles along a busy highway in the Philippine capital on Monday night, killing three and injuring 17 others, police said on Tuesday. According to the police, the multi-vehicle accident happened around 9 p.m. local time and involved a bus, a passenger van, a taxi, and five motorcycles. MANILA, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Two people died and nine were injured in a fire that gutted a residential area in the Philippine capital on Monday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection said. The bureau said the fire, which broke out around 12:45 p.m. local time, took the lives of two female residents.
