Despite the strong current, a family dares to cross the Tubod River in Iligan City on Sunday morning (21 January 2024) shortly after attending a procession for the Santo Niño. Two of them are holding statues of Sto. Niño. The bridge in this area was damaged in a flood in March 2022 but still passable for pedestrians, and was completely washed away by another flood November last year.
