The Land Transportation Franchise and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has reminded drivers of public utility vehicles (PUV) that they will be fined for refusing to honor the mandated 20 percent discounts for students. LTFRB board member Atty. Aileen Lizada said on Monday that the fine could be up to P15,000, depending on the number of times the offense was committed.
