DETROIT (AP) — Blake Griffin scored 30 points to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 120-115 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night (Thursday, PHL time). Andre Drummond added 14 points and 21 rebounds for the Pistons, who won for the third time in 11 games. Detroit had six players with at least 13 points. Nikola Vucevic and Terrence Ross each scored 24 points for Orlando, which had won two in a row after a four-game losing streak. Detroit led by as many as 11 in the fourth quarter, but Vucevic helped pull the Magic within 105-104 with 3:23 to play and tied it at 107 with 2:14 to go. D.J. Augustin followed with a layup to put Orlando ahead, and the teams went scoreless on their next possessions. Drummond's tip-in tied the game at 109-all, and Vucevic missed a jumper with 20.4 seconds left. Griffin ran down the clock, but missed a jumper at the end of regulation. Detroit scored the first four points of overtime, but Ross answered with a pair of three-pointers. Both teams struggled to score after that, and the Magic called a timeout with 42.5 seconds left, trailing 117-115. Vucevic missed a hook, and Griffin hit a layup in traffic to give Detroit a four-point lead. The Magic shot 67.5 percent from the floor in the first half, but the Pistons were able to hold the margin to 63-58 with a 6-1 rebounding advantage on the offensive glass and nine free throws to Orlando's three. Vucevic and Ross had 15 each for the Magic, while Griffin led Detroit with 12. Ish Smith's three-pointer gave the Pistons a 75-74 lead late in the third quarter, and Griffin's nine points in the period helped Detroit take a 90-84 lead into the fourth. Antetokounmpo leads streaking Bucks past Grizzlies 111-101

By Clay Bailey, Associated Press MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Giannis Antetokounmpo had 27 points and 11 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks used a third-quarter outburst to capture their third straight win, 111-101 over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night (Thursday, PHL time). Eric Bledsoe added 16 points and D.J. Wilson scored 13 for the Bucks, who won for the 14th time in 17 games. Omri Casspi led the Grizzlies with 17 points. Marc Gasol, Mike Conley and JaMychal Green scored 14 points apiece for Memphis, which lost its ninth in the last 10. The Grizzlies took their only lead of the game at 59-58 early in the second half on a three-pointer by Gasol. The Bucks made sure any Memphis excitement was short-lived. Milwaukee ran off 19 straight points to extend its lead to 18. By that point, the Grizzlies returned to uninspired play as the Bucks outscored Memphis 41-28 in the quarter. Memphis committed eight turnovers in the third, leading to 20 points. The Bucks took an early lead thanks to anemic shooting by Memphis. The Grizzlies starters seemed lackadaisical and not up to the task of challenging one of the better teams in the NBA as Milwaukee stretched its lead to as many as 14 points. The Memphis reserves brought more energy and steadily chipped away at the Bucks advantage. Casspi and Green led the rally. But the Bucks used 15 points from Antetokounmpo to hold on for a 50-45 lead at the break. The third-quarter rally led to Milwaukee building the advantage to as many as 31 points in the fourth. TIP-INS Bucks: Milwaukee leads the series 23-22. . The Bucks lead the league in scoring differential at 10 points per game and have 23 double-digit victories this season. . Nets survive Rockets in OT despite 58 from Harden

By Kristie Rieken, Associated Press HOUSTON (AP) — Spencer Dinwiddie scored 25 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and the Brooklyn Nets spoiled James Harden's 58-point night with a 145-142 victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday (Thursday, PHL time). Harden had his second straight season high after scoring 57 in a victory over Memphis on Monday night (Tuesday, PHL time), but was only 5-of-19 from three-point range. The Rockets shot an NBA-record 70 triples, making just 23. Harden has scored at least 30 points in 18 straight games and has reached 40 in nine of the last 12. He was 16 of 34 overall from the field, made 21-of-23 free throws and had 10 rebounds and six assists. Dinwiddie forced overtime, making three three-pointers in the last 30 seconds of regulation. Treveon Graham made a triple for Brooklyn and Jarrett Allen made a basket but missed a free throw to cut the lead to 142-140. But the Nets grabbed a rebound and Dinwiddie, who had seven points in OT, made a three-point play to put Brooklyn up 143-142. Austin Rivers missed a three for Houston, and Joe Harris made two free throws to make it 145-142 with 1.6 seconds left. Houston had a chance to tie it at the buzzer, but Gerald Green's shot clanged off the rim. The Rockets broke their own record for three-point attempts after shooting 61 against New Orleans on Dec. 16, 2016. Houston also holds the record for most three-pointers made after hitting 26 in a win over Washington this season. Green, who did not attempt a two-point basket, made 5-of-15. The Rockets were up by 11 with about 2.5 minutes left when Brooklyn used a 9-3 run to get to 127-122 with about 30 seconds left. P.J. Tucker made two free throws after that, and Dinwiddie made a triple for Brooklyn with 26.2 seconds remaining to cut it to 128-125. Harden made one of two free throws, and Dinwiddie struck again with another three about five seconds later to get Brooklyn within one. Tucker missed two free throws, but Harden grabbed a rebound with 12.7 seconds left. He made both free throws, and Dinwiddie made a third straight three-pointer to tie it up with 8.4 seconds left. Spurs rally from 19 down, beat Mavs 105-101

By Dave Jackson, Associated Press DALLAS (AP) — Davis Bertans hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 1:41 left, and the San Antonio Spurs rallied from a 19-point first-half deficit to beat the Dallas Mavericks 105-101 on Wednesday night (Thursday, PHL time). The Spurs blew a six-point lead in the final period, but Bertans made his third three-pointer of the quarter for a 99-96 lead and San Antonio led the rest of the way. Bertans finished with 12 points. Six Spurs scored at least 12 points, led by Marco Belinelli's 17. After Bertans' triple, LaMarcus Aldridge scored on a tip shot with 1:07 left to extend the lead to five. Wesley Matthews' three brought Dallas within two, but DeMar DeRozan hit a 20-footer at the other end and Belinelli sealed it with free throws. Luka Doncic led Dallas with 25 points, adding eight rebounds and eight assists. He became the first rookie since Stephen Curry in 2010 to score 25 or more points in five straight games. After trailing by 19 during the first half, San Antonio tied it at 80 on Belinelli's driving layup with 11:06 to play. DeRozan gave the Spurs their first lead 27 seconds later, setting up a three-minute stretch in which the lead changed hands seven times. DeRozan hit back-to-back mid-range jumpers for a 94-90 lead, and he fed Aldridge for a dunk that extended the Spurs' advantage to six. Doncic answered with two baskets and an alley-oop pass to DeAndre Jordan that tied it. Doncic's most impressive stretch came in the middle of the third quarter. Trailing by double digits from the opening minutes of the game, the Spurs opened the second half on a 12-6 run to get within 62-57. Doncic then almost single-handedly kept Dallas in the lead for the rest of the quarter, scoring or assisting on the Mavs' next 12 points to help Dallas maintain a five-point lead going into the fourth. Dallas has lost five of seven, and three of its last four at home after losing only three of its first 18 at American Airlines Center. The Mavericks are also 0-6 in games without J.J. Barea, who is out for the season after Achilles tendon surgery. The Mavericks led 23-4 early and made seven three-pointers in the first quarter. San Antonio closed within 56-45 at halftime by ending the half on a 17-9 run. SMITH OUT AGAIN Mavericks guard Dennis Smith Jr. missed his fourth consecutive game amid trade rumors, this time with coach Rick Carlisle saying Smith was sick and away from the arena. Smith missed the previous three games with what was listed as back tightness. Told of a Twitter exchange between Smith and a couple in a restaurant at lunch earlier in the day, Carlisle said, "I don't have any knowledge of that. My trainer told me he was sick and he's going to be out tonight. I've told you what I'm going to tell you about it."
