Cop shoots fellow cop dead inside Camp Bagong Diwa

  A police officer was shot dead on Saturday morning by another police officer inside Camp Bagong Diwa, headquarters of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) in Taguig City.   According to a report, Police Officer 1 Mark Pasamba, 29, sustained four gunshot wounds in the body. Taguig remains alive and kicking in NBL

Taguig defeated Parañaque, 80-69, over the weekend to keep its hopes alive of a quarterfinal berth in the National Basketball League (NBL) at the Ugnayang La Salle Gymnasium in Dasmariñas City. Richmond Gilbero led the Taguig Generals with 19 points and 13 rebounds to improve their record to 4-5, tying Nueva Ecija for sixth place in the team standings. The top two teams at the end of the elimination round will advance to the semifinals outright while the third to sixth-placed teams will play a knockout quarterfinal berth. Ties will be broken using winner-over-the-other rule or quotient. Dasmariñas, meanwhile, edged Nueva Ecija, 81-76, to climb to fourth place with a 5-3 record.
