1 killed, 1 hurt in ‘Wowowin’ studio taping accident

MANILA, Philippines --- A member of the audience was killed in an accident during the taping of GMA 7's variety game show "Wowowin." A joint statement from GMA Network and WBR Entertainment said a member of the audience was injured while another lost her life at 5:25 p.m on Tuesday. "During the Wowowin taping on Tuesday, 22 January 2019 on or about 5:25 in the afternoon, an unfortunate accident transpired during the opening number of the show. One member from the studio audience was injured, while another lost her life," the statement read. The statement said Milagros Espiritu was hurt while Estrella Bongot died in the incident. Beyoncé on board for ‘The Lion King’ remake

Pop star Beyonc will enter the Circle of Life as she joins the cast of the "The Lion King" live-action remake. Disney announced on Twitter the complete cast for the star-studded movie. ‘Wicked’ movie musical to fly into theaters Christmas 2021

LOS ANGELES --- The winds have changed again for the long-awaited movie version of the hit musical "Wicked". Universal Pictures says Friday that the film will land in theaters on Dec. 22, 2021.
