PDEA to keep barangay drugs watch list in Central Visayas confidential

CEBU CITY - Amid calls from the local poll body, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7) will not make public the names of barangay officials who are on their drugs watch list. PDEA-7 spokesperson Leia Albiar said they were still validating the participation of half of the 563 village officials in the country who were named on their list. Albayalde backs barangay execs submission of ‘drug list’ to DILG

Mandaluyong drug syndicate busted; 14 suspects arrested

A notorious drug syndicate in Mandaluyong City has been "70-percent destroyed" thanks to the cooperation of barangay officials and residents. Senior Supt. Moises Villaceran, Mandaluyong police chief, said 14 members of Junnel Adriano drug group were arrested in a series of weeklong buy-busts in the city. 2 shabu sellers nabbed in Talisay City

  CEBU CITY - Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA-7) arrested two alleged underlings of self-confessed drug lord Franz Sabalones in a drug bust in Barangay Lagtang, Talisay City on Tuesday evening. Spouses Misael and Janice Palermo did not resist arrest, said PDEA-7 spokesperson Leia Albiar. Allegedly seized from them were 600 grams of shabu (methamphetamine) worth P3 million. Man held for drugs admits role in Pasay hotel robbery

9 drug suspects arrested in QC; 25 sachets of ‘shabu’ seized

The Quezon City police arrested nine drug suspects and seized a total of 25 sachets of "shabu" (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations across the city between Thursday and Friday morning.   Of the nine arrested, three were on the police drug watch list, according to a report to Quezon City District Director Chief Supt.
