Immigration agents catch 8 Chinese fugitives in Muntinlupa

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) will deport eight Chinese fugitives wanted in Beijing for their alleged involvement in economic crimes. Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the aliens were arrested last week in their office at Northgate Information Technology Park in Filinvest Corporate City, Muntinlupa City. "These aliens are undesirable and are already undocumented as their passports have already been canceled by the Chinese government," Morente told reporters. They will also be placed on the BI's blacklist to prevent their return to the country, he said.
