DFA: Another Filipino drowns in New Zealand  

        MANILA, Philippines - Another Filipino drowned while swimming in a river in New Zealand, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Thursday. The Philippine Embassy in Wellington said the 20-year-old victim drowned in Whanganui River, 150 kilometers northwest of Wellington on Wednesday. His body was recovered on Thursday. The DFA, however, deferred identifying the fatality. The DFA said it extended its condolences to the victim's family.
