However, ROW issues continue to persist. Despite these challenges, the project is still considered a priority and is included in the Davao Region Development Plan (DRDP) for 2023–2028. The Davao Travel Agencies Association (DTAA) has issued a warning about unregistered and illegal travel and tour operators in their area.
