SAN PEDRO CITY -- A man facing illegal drug charges was rearrested on Sunday in Alfonso town in Cavite province, a year after he led a jailbreak in this city. Supt. Giovannie Martinez, the city police chief, said Mark Joseph Varias, 27, was recaptured around 12:45 p.m. in Barangay (village) Kaytitinga 3. Martinez said Varias went into hiding and transferred locations in Cavite province for a year.
