A drug peddler was nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Thursday. Quezon City Police District District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) Officer-in-Charge P/Maj. Wennie Cale identified the suspect as Emilio Tayao, 25 years old, a resident of Brgy. Bagong Pagasa, Quezon City. Cale said the DDEU operatives, in coordination with PDEA-RO-NCR, conducted a buy-bust operation at 12:30 a.m. on 19 October 2023 in front of No. 125 Warayan St., Sitio San Roque, Brgy. Bagong Pagasa, Quezon City, after a concerned citizen reported the illegal drug activity of the suspect. 2 arrested drug pushers yield P102K worth of shabu, firearms
Quezon City police have arrested two drug pushers who yielded P102,000 worth of shabu and firearms in a buy-bust operation early morning yesterday. Quezon City Police District director, P/Brig.Gen. Redrico Maranan, said the suspects were collared by operatives of Novaliches Police Station (PS 4), led by P/Lt. Col. Jerry Castillo, who identified the suspects as Reymarc Calceta, 27 years old, and Maria Nicole Repollo, 24 years old, both residents of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. According to Castillo, the PS 4 operatives, in coordination with PDEA-QC, conducted a buy-bust operation at 5:00 a.m. and arrested the duo in front of Novavets Animal Clinic and Grooming Center along Susano Road in Brgy. San Agustin, Novaliches. The police officer said the arrest came after a concerned citizen reported the illegal drug activities of the suspects. A police officer acted as a poseur buyer and bought P7,500 worth of shabu from the suspects, and at the given pre-arranged signal, they were arrested. Seized from the suspects’ possessions were 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000; a black pouch; an identification card; a motorcycle; a cellular phone; and the buy-bust money. Likewise, one caliber .38 revolver and four pieces of .38 full metal ammunition were confiscated from suspect Calceta. The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Additional charges for violation of RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and violation of the Omnibus Election Code in relation to the COMELEC Gun Ban will be filed against suspect Calceta before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office. Cops arrest drug suspect on birthday eve
A high-value target was arrested a day before his birthday in a buy-bust operation carried out by the personnel of Parañaque City Police SDEU that took place at 4:20 p.m. on 16 September along Filipinas Avenue, Brgy. San Isidro in Parañaque City. The apprehended suspect was identified by P/BGen. Roderick D. Mariano, director of Southern Police District (SPD), as Nasrudin Ayob Libas, alias Camsa, 33 years old. Coincidentally, his birthday falls on 17 September. The police confiscated during the operation five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with an estimated combined weight of more or less 100 grams, valued at P680,000; one genuine P1,000 bill used as buy-bust money; and one blue coin purse. Confiscated from his possession were 10 grams of shabu valued at P68,000. In addition, the PS-9 arrested Abdullazis Sandangan at the same day along Kamias Road corner K10th St. in Brgy. East Kamias. Operatives of the Manila Police District –PS 2 arrested a 41-year-old man during a buy-bust operation conducted on Saturday night in Lakandula Street in Tondo Manila. P/SSg Jimmy Joy Fajardo of MPD-PS2 identified the suspect as Rasul Abpi, alias Amo, a muslim, and resident of Brgy. 649 in Port Area, Manila. Operatives of the Manila Police District –DSOU (District Special Operating Unit) arrested a notorious lady drug pusher in Islang Puting Bato, Tondo, Manila during a buy-bust operation conducted on Wednesday night. Police identified the suspect as Mary Ann Evaresto, also known as Maan, 27 years old, jobless, and a resident of Parola Compound, Brgy. 20 in Tondo, Manila. She was arrested in a buy-bust operation along Isla Puting Bato on 30 August 2023 at around 7:15 p.m. According to P/Maj. A total of 110 grams of suspected illegal drugs were confiscated by authorities in a buy-bust operation conducted at dawn yesterday in Brgy. San Antonio, Parañaque City. Operatives of the Quezon City Police District arrested 18 alleged drug pushers and confiscated a total 44.15 grams of shabu with a street value of P301,600, in separate buy bust operations Wednesday night until yesterday (Thursday) morning. Biggest haul was from the buy bust operation of the QCPD Drug Enforcement Unit with 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, confiscated from Jorjie Olino, 29, and John Mark Sabordo a.k.a. BOGS, 28, both residents of Barangay Bahay Toro. The duo, was nabbed after selling to a poseur buyer, who was a DEU operative along Sinagtala Street of the said village. Another operation of DEU resulted to the confiscation of 11 grams of shabu worth P74,000 from Saquio Dahildahil a.k.a “Dong”, 34, of Barangay Sta. Cruz and Jeson Bolasco, 40 of Brgy Quirino 2B.
